Twenty-three Agility employees recently received personal development training as a part of the company’s “Empower” initiative. This program aims to develop Kuwaiti talent and provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills to eventually take on larger roles within the organization.

For this initiative, Agility partnered with the Manpower Government Restructuring Program (MGRP), a government institute that focuses on enhancing employment opportunities for Kuwaiti nationals in the private sector.  A development road map was created by Agility to strengthen the Kuwaiti talent pool in cooperation with MGRP.

At an appreciation ceremony honoring employees that completed the training, Ahmad Abdalla, Agility’s Senior Vice President, Human Capital, said, “Employees are key to the success at Agility. Initiatives – such as Empower – will help nurture local talent for greater responsibilities within the company.”

In the near future, Empower will also provide internship programs for Kuwaiti students. This will help create a pool of energetic young professionals that can join the Agility workforce and contribute to the growth and development of the company.

Addressing attendees at the gathering Tarek Sultan, Agility’s Chairman and Managing Director, said, “It is a pleasure to honor the achievements of our employees today. By advancing Kuwaiti talent, we are investing in our country’s future. With the Empower initiative we hope to build a stronger and more skilled workforce that will not only contribute to the company, but also to the country in the long run.”
