INJAZ Kuwait and Agility, a leading global logistics provider, recently hosted a job shadow day at Agility’s premises in Sulaibiya. The job shadow day is part of a comprehensive program designed to help students define their career path and introduce them to skills required to be successful in the workplace. During two daylong sessions, 120 students from the American creativity Academy, Kuwait National English School and The Carmel School of Kuwait participated in the program and received a better understanding of the logistics industry.
Tarek Sultan, Chairman and Managing Director of Agility, and regional board member of INJAZ, said, “We are committed to supporting youth education programs in our local communities and it was important for us to participate in this job shadow program. Our partnership with INJAZ provides us with the opportunity to educate students on the logistics industry and professional work environment in general. Through our participation in this program, we hope to create more economic opportunities for our youth.”
